When and Where to Check Your Email - For Clinics - Short Demo

This is a piece of e-learning as a prototype created for a fictional foundation with clinics around the world.

This fictional foundation is looking for an effective way to help their employees to be vigilant against phishing attempts. To increase their awareness and change their behavior so that they remain vigilant.

They asked for a learning solution that prevents further data breaches and helps their employees to be well equipped to defend themselves and the foundation against these criminal attempts.

This scenario based practice lesson is just one element of the learning journey I designed for this fictional foundation.

In this scenario based practice lesson,  employees are presented with different types of work scenarios for checking email.

They learn to think about the when and where to check their emails. That they consider being in a safe places and at moments when they can have sufficient attention to the emails.

In doing so, minimising the chance of falling in a phishing email trap.

Elements of learning are:

  • What are right and wrong places to check email.
  • What are right and wrong times to check email.
  • Recognize when you have no sufficient attention to check your email.
